Description

Glasgow International (GI), Scotland's Biennial Festival of Contemporary Art is looking for an Open Programme Convenor to join us on a part time, fixed term contract for a period up to August 2024.

As Open Programme Convenor, you will be joining us in a new role to support GI's open programme, working towards the next edition of the festival in June 2024.

The role

If you are interested in joining us as Open Programme Convenor, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Experience of working in festivals or contemporary arts spaces and/or arts in education/community settings
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Glasgow's visual art community
  • Demonstrated experience of project management
  • Ability to innovate, solve problems and develop new ideas collaboratively, and work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practice in community engagement in a visual art context
