Description
At UK Architectural Heritage, we are looking for an Administration and Content Assistant to join our team.

In this varied role, the successful applicant will carry out a range of office-based administrative tasks and assist the Content Coordinator in uploading new stock to the website.

About Us
UK Architectural Heritage is a seller of premium architectural and decorative antiques.

Based in rural Herefordshire, we are one of the largest reclamation yards in the country with showrooms and warehouses packed with hand-picked antiques in styles through the ages.

We work with architects, interior and retail designers, filmmakers, property developers and homeowners.


The Role

  • Coordinating all purchases: printing invoices, maintaining purchase records, creating purchase notes
  • Issuing stock codes
  • Preparing and maintaining documents for the accountant
  • Assisting the Content Coordinator with creating and uploading website listings
  • Noting key details during photography sessions
  • Photo editing, cropping and resizing
  • Researching products to write informative product descriptions
  • Arranging purchases at the request of the Director
  • 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent IT skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Apple Mac
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Writing, editing and proofreading experience
  • Able to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Strong time management skills
  • Team player
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Own transport essential due to our rural location
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Wordpress
  • Interest in Antiques

Other Information

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am 4pm (40 hrs per week)
  • 30 minutes for lunch
  • 28 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)
  • This role is based within a farming environment which can be dusty and dirty
  • Training provided

Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience
