Assistant Risk Managers for an
initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend
based remotely within the UK.

Purpose of the Role:

A number of exciting opportunities have arisen to join the Risk & Policy team, which is responsible for ensuring that Group Sourcing & Supplier Management designs, operates and maintains a robust policy and control environment in line with the bank's riskappetite.
Group Sourcing & Supplier Management are responsible for crafting and operating a robust framework for the utilization of Supplier services to the Group and you can be a key part of that through involvement with a wide range of activities.

As an Assistant Risk Manager you will be responsible for:

Working with industry tools including RCSA (IBM OpenPages), SAP Ariba and Service Now to support senior partners in the identification of emerging risks and trends through the end-to-end Sourcing and Supply Chain Management process.
Coordinating, reporting and interpreting Management Information including Key Risk Indicators & trend identification.
Supporting the management and oversight of risk activities within RCSA to achieve fully embedded status, including action plans and trigger management.
Embedding Operational Resilience methodologies throughout our endtoend framework.
Establishing and building links with internal and external partners to identify business requirements and improve efficiency, providing appropriate support and mentorship,
An understanding of risk management frameworks, associated tools and methodologies.
Previous background experience involving sourcing or supply chain ideally within Financial Services, Insurance or similar regulated industries.
Good attention to detail to ensure that we always produce high quality materials and information.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities, enabling the team to operate in a professional and efficient manner.
An ability to assimilate facts and weigh against underlying risk frameworks to propose recommendations to business partners.
A naturally inquisitive disposition and willingness to challenge the way we work and to suggest improvements to processes, with a view of 'Keeping it Simple'.
An desire to actively seek opportunities to use initiative to identify and drive improvements within the Team.
