The main purpose of this role is to provide an efficient, effective, flexible and proactive PA service to the Executive Director and Leadership Team in support of overall Directorate objectives.


The Job

  • Provide a range of PA activities to support the Directorate Leadership Team including, but not limited to; diary management and monitoring of travel plans, coordination of meeting arrangements and active prioritisation of inboxes to ensure key activities are actioned timeously
  • Prepare documentation for the Directorate Leadership Team including, drafting briefings, presentations, correspondence and collation of reports and papers, liaising with teams across ACCA to source content as required
  • Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, booking meeting rooms, collating papers, creating, distributing and updating action trackers and meeting minutes
  • Support the Directorate Leadership Team with travel arrangements; ensuring adherence to ACCA's travel and expense policies and compliance with visa and immigration requirements
  • Organise Directorate wide events including coordinating monthly directorate calls and organising adhoc internal and external events as appropriate
  • Provide internal communications and teams channels support across the Directorate, giving guidance to the Directorate Leadership Team on how to best utilise the range of digital communication channels available.

The Person

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a PA role
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to handle large volumes of work in a busy and demanding environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, M365 and Teams
  • Proactive team player with ability to work flexibly and show initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the credibility and confidence to deal with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation
  • High level of discretion, diplomacy and judgement to handle confidential and sensitive material
