Norris Steam Services are recruiting for an office assistant.

We are a family run company, established over 50 years ago specialising in steam pressing equipment and components in the fashion & laundry industries.

We have seen a sales growth of nearly 50% over the past 5 years.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fun but busy environment that is looking to have a career with our company rather than just a job.

Our office is London, E8 4QS where you will be required to be from Monday - Friday 08:15 until 16:30.

Our client base includes many world renowned fashion houses in Bond Street, Department stores in Knightsbridge and the UK's largest dry cleaning chain.

The role will include the following tasks;

• Speaking to clients in store and by telephone to take new sales orders.
• Data Processing using Sage 50 Accounts
• Preparing goods for distribution.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organising the warehouse.
• Ensure goods are built ready for client use.
• Complete small electrical works such as put a plug on.
• Knowledge in Sage 50 accounts software, This is vital
• Be able to solve problems and work independently.
• To be able to learn new products and how to locate them through Sage accounts and in store.
• Physically fit to assist in lifting goods, approximately 25KG and upwards.

We shall provide full training in our products and what they do. All we ask is that you have the necessary IT and personal skills.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
