Tamworth has a proud tradition of using recycled plastics with 60% of the Polymer purchased being from recycled sources and offers its customers a circularity environmental option by recovering their used broken plastic products and converting them into new products.

Goods Inwards Assistant
Location:
Tamworth, Staffordshire, UK
Job Overview and Key Duties:
- Liaise with customs clearance on releasing goods from customs
- Booking in delivery slots with transport companies
- Check paperwork tallies and book qty's into system
- Report delivery discrepancies
- Keep delivery records in line with ISO 9001 and other company audit requirements
- Maintain all production & maintenance consumable items with stock takes
- Order and maintain all none materials requirements for production
- Maintain and run all service contract visits
- Raise any concerns with quality of deliveries with purchasing dept
- Maintain all waste management visits and records
- An understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Record and issue out data of all resin scrap sent to recycle companies
- Order, track and maintain tracker for PPE for employees
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Goods In receiving duties
- Conducting cycle counts of stock and inventory onsite in the stores area
- Controlling traceability and shelflife issues for key materials.
- Interacting with material controllers and production staff on daily requirements and issues.
- Working to team KPI's to control processes and key materials.
- Updating Internal Warehouse Management SystemRecording and administrating waste and scrap levels
- Previous goods inwards experience desirable
- Demonstrable experience of working in a pressurised, deadline driven environment
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, are required.
- Computer literacy, with confidence in the use of standard computer packages
- Quality focussed
- Ability to work on own initiative
