Purpose of role

To provide direct line support to management and cleaning staff across Barton, Brigg, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Skegness.

To ensure the smooth running of the service, the standard of work meets the requirements of the client at all times and that statutory obligations are met in full.

Duties

The duties of the role include:

  • Meet new starters on first shift and complete onsite inductions
  • Conduct training with staff as and when required
  • To carry out regular audits on all cleaning sites in your designated area. Report audit scores and any feedback to the operative and Operations Co-Ordinator
  • Audit new cleaners within the first 3 weeks of commencement of employment (dependant on regularity of cleaning schedule)
  • Follow up audits on failed audit sites within 2 weeks and take any necessary action to manage performance
  • Assist and supervise team onsite at holiday accommodation cleaning in Skegness every Monday & Friday to include cleaning of own allocated units.
  • Ensure file notes are logged on employee files regarding any discussions/ issues raised.
  • Ensuring employees are adhering to Health and Safety protocols at all timesincluding the use and storage of chemicals and cleaning equipment and undertake Health and Safety audits and report any concerns to management
  • To ensure that the cleaning services are delivered in line with the client contract and are compliant with the agreed service specifications, dealing effectively with any problems or complaints that may arise
  • To undertake client feedback (informal) as and when required
  • To manage the work of all cleaning operatives, and arrange cover in the event of absence and to agree overtime working as and when required
  • To assist with site handovers (collecting keys etc) and covering sites as and when required.
  • To organise the workload of teams, ensuring an even distribution of work
  • To monitor the levels of cleaning materials onsite
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Attend Operation Meetings
In addition to the above any duties your manager or the company require you to undertake.

Reporting to Operations Co-Ordinator

Working 30 hour per week (Flexible hours - to include 2 full days on a Monday and Friday)

Monday to Friday (Occasional weekends required)

Company vehicle, phone and fuel card provided.

£12.00 per hour
