Our client, one of Flintshire's largest employers and one of the UK's largest the leading upholstery manufacturers is searching for a Payroll Officer to be a part of their team on a part-time basis.


Do you have previous experience in payroll administration, alongside excellent communication and numerical skills? If so this opportunity could be perfect for you to take the next step in your career or gain further experience.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
Previous experience in payroll administration is essential for this role.


Successful applicants will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as having a strong eye for detail when conducting their work.

It would be beneficial to have experience in situations where you have been under pressure and have had to use your excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues.


Given this role will revolve around processing the number hours which employees have worked, a significant amount of manual calculations will be carried out in this role.

As a result, it would be extremely beneficial if you are confident with numbers and are comfortable with using math calculations as this would be a huge advantage in this role.


As Payroll Officer, you will specifically be responsible for assisting with the month end process which includes accruals, providing monthly reporting and analysis, reconcile and review holiday pay calculations, maintain reports for pensions and assist with general office admin when required.


Key Skills Required

  • Minimum 1 year payroll/administration experience (required)
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to balance work load effectively
  • Must be able to act on their initiative when required, especially when working individually
  • Must be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Have previous experience/feel confident using Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.

Salary
£15,000.00 per year
