We are an employee orientated, professional and safety conscious organisation based in Eastbourne now recruiting for a Document Administrator to join our team.


About the Document Administrator role:


Working within the Projects Department, to manage the creation, storage, submission and approval of internally generated and subcontractor's documents and procedures as per contractual requirements.


In addition to this as our Document Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all project documentation generated by company and sub-contractors; creating and revising project documentation for customer approval.
  • Controlling workflow of all project related documents including registers.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure that documents contain correct and understandable information with regards to their categorisation.
  • Maintaining accurate file structure for all project documentation.
  • Performing quality control checks to ensure Company generated documents comply with Company and client document management system.
  • Distributing documentation to the project team in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Actively participating in working groups to deliver continuous improvement projects and activities

In order to be successful in this role you must be / have experience in:

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
  • 5 A-C GSCE's (A Level or Degree level equivalents desired)
  • Previous document control and/or Engineering experience
  • Highly organised and able to manage own workload
  • Good communicator, orally and written
  • Capable of dealing with high pressure situations
  • Quality beliefs and excellent attention to detail.
