Description
Our client is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Company based in Basildon, Essex. They serve all sectors of the electronics market with advanced technology systems with a committed and professional team.

The role of Customer Services Manager is focusedon customer relationship management and overseeing of projects from order generation through to revenue recognition.

A high level of account management support is required and will be delivered by strong communication and organisation skills as well as detailedmanagement of data and time management skills.

Experience in customer services/account management within a manufacturing organisation would be a great advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and build relationships with customers by providing both a proactive and reactive service and resolving any issues as they arise
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date at every stage
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including sales, engineering, purchasing and production to oversee the product journey
  • Take responsibility for department KPIs
  • Enter and maintain FM data
  • Host daily and weekly planning meetings
  • Focus on delivering service excellence through personal engagement with customers, sometimes in difficult circumstances
  • Manage, coach and develop the Customer Services Administrator

Skills

  • Previous experience working in a Customer Service Manager or similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer empathy and determination to resolve issues
  • Ability to influence others (internal and external stakeholders) through persuasion, negotiation and consensus building
  • Analytical, data and processoriented mindset
  • Enthusiastic and creative in problem solving
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and work on several projects at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous team leadership experience would be an advantage
This is a site-based role in Basildon, Essex. Working hours onsite are 08:00 - 16:30 (Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 15:30 (Fridays). Salary £25-30k
