This post is for a Practice Coordinator who will peform business support duties within Southward Youth Justice Services.


Purpose of the job:


  • Provide a first point of contact for the children and families supported by the practice group, identifying needs and providing appropriate support and advice.
  • Provide key administrative support across the practice group that ensures timely and appropriate interventions with children and their families.

Knowledge:


  • Awareness of, and sensistivity to, the needs of vulnerable children and their families
  • Understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Children's services function
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes, including budget monitoring
  • Achieving a range of tasks whilst managing competing priorities
  • Designing and implementing systems to coordinate work processes
  • Drafting correspondence and writing reports for a range of different audiences
