Within Awaze, our Specialist Brands Division (SBD) is responsible for newly acquired and growth brands and has responsibility for integrating them into the wider business.

We currently has 8 acquired vacation rental businesses from across Europe and is planningto accelerate that acquisition over the next few years.


The Role:


Responsibilities:


  • Define and own the SEO strategy for SBD working with local and SBD technology and local marketing teams to implement
  • Perform keyword research for all SBD brands and key markets and define ranking approach and strategy for each brand
  • Audit the technical setup of each of the SBD brands and define a recommended approach to optimising technical SEO and onsite strategy
  • Work with the local brand marketing teams to ensure that their PR, content, and social strategies are maximising their potential from an SEO rankings perspective
  • Work with the Digital Product Team to ensure that the SBD websites are optimising both for user experience and SEO ranking potential
  • Drive the use of technology, tools and data to streamline processes, efficiencies and drive decisionmaking in order to support ranking improvements.
  • Communication to and management of key stakeholders (SBD Brand GM's, SBD MD, SBD Finance, etc.) to ensure SEO is delivering on volume and efficiency expectations
  • Summarise, analyse and present results, using the findings to feed back into strategy formulation
  • Lead, manage and mentor the SEO team
  • Manage and work with external partners and agencies to maximising output and performance as required
  • Adopt a continual 'test and learn' approach to all SEO activities
  • Research competitor activity and reporting on findings, gap analysis, etc.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an SEO Strategy/Leadership role
  • SEO experience in an Ecommerce business preferred
  • Travel experience would be ideal
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding with a flair for all things digital
  • Experience in user experience and website optimisation, usability studies and A/B testing.
  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills, with an intuitive mind and great problemsolving skills
  • Driven, selfstarter
  • Effective and engaging communicator
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience of working in a matrixed organisation
  • Experience of remote working and distributed teams

LOCATION:
Please note this role can be based (a couple of days a week) in any our offices (Manchester, London or Kent)
