Description

Wernick Refurbished Buildings are one of the UK's largest independent suppliers of modular and temporary buildings. We are now looking for a full-time site supervisor to join our growing business based just outside of York.

Key responsibilities

Assist with the installation of modular buildings nationwide
Check for defects and arrange rectification
Manage subcontractor progress and performance
Liaise with the projects team in regard to any matters which occur on site and have a delay on contract period
Conduct site visits to assess site access for transport and cranes
Support the project team to effectively plan, manage and coordinate site work
Identify and manage risks on site
On site client liaison
Address minor defects with use of own tools

Key Attributes

Experience of managing subcontract trades
Hold a CSCS Card at Supervisor Level
Have a good knowledge of the latest CDM Regulations
Have good administrative and people management skills
Ideally hold a CPCS A61 appointed person & A62 lift supervisor qualification
Basic joinery skills
