Key responsibilities, accountabilities, and decision ownership:

  • Act as a local Project point of contact for liaison with residents in connection with enquiries and resolution of complaints.
  • Log and follow up on enquiries and complaints noted in the project contact log to ensure responses are provided and enquiries and complaints are closed out within the timescales required by the client.
  • Assist with the drafting of responses to local community enquiries and complaints and undertaking any followup visits as required.
  • Report on community relations sensitivities, open contact log enquiries and complaints in line with reporting requirements to be agreed with the client project stakeholder leads.
  • Contribute to and support the development of any stakeholder engagement strategy, communications plan, communications material, including consultation or information events.
  • Input into the project communications plan setting out how community relations and community engagement activities will be effectively managed.
  • Maintain and cultivate close liaison with local community representatives, landowners as required and residents. This is likely to include circulation of information about ongoing activities, particularly those that could potentially cause disturbance.
  • Undertake management and recording of stakeholder meetings within a tracking database, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or similar will be required, taking minutes, setting up of meetings and helping to support mailbox management.
  • Identify the key community relations issues that could potentially arise.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • A degree in
  • Public Relations (PR), Business, Communications, Internation Relations, Project/Construction Management, Environmental or Political Sciences.
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent use of English Language.
  • Full UK driving license.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 60 months


Salary:
Up to £250.00 per day

  • Weekend availability
