Description

Our client, leading specialists in multidisciplinary rail design and engineering consultancy, located in Liverpool, now has an opening for a Team Organiser to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an office based working role.

The purpose of the role is to report to the Office Manager and supporting the wider team, the Team Organiser will provide an efficient and effective general administrative support service.


Principal responsibilities of the Team Organiser are:

  • Performing general office administration duties which include, but not limited to, meeting room coordination, mail control, coordinating diaries and maintaining procurement of office supplies.
  • Organising travel arrangements, hotel and expense bookings for both UK and international travel.
  • Arranging meetings along with production and dissemination of documentation for and resulting from them.
  • Recording meeting minutes when required and follow up actions from meetings.
  • Report team issues and monitor responses.
  • Providing HR, training and competence, and recruitment administration
  • Create and maintain an efficient filing system paying for records of standing meetings, statutory records, and authorisations.
  • Supporting the finance team with invoicing and approvals.

Key skills/experience required:


  • Ability to simultaneously coordinate various workstreams
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and an eye for detail
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, SharePoint and Teams package
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • A team player with a cando attitude, respectful of colleagues and clients and a balanced approach to working with conflicting priorities when managing high volume of demand

Advantageous Skills (but not limited to):

  • Recognised qualification in keyboard associated skills and office management techniques
  • Knowledge and experience of records management
  • Appreciation of commercial and procurement procedures

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Liverpool, Merseyside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
