Apprentice Team Ltd are currently recruiting for a business based in Chesterfield, S41 area who is looking for a Hospitality Team Member Apprentice to join their growing teamThis business is the highest AA rated 4-star hotel in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
An independently owned hotel which boasts 100 bedrooms, 12 meeting rooms accommodating up to 280 guests, it is home to Cocina, a beautiful two-rosette restaurant and relaxed lounge bar.
LIST OF DUTIES
- Food & Beverage: food hygiene, health and safety, customer service, menu learning i.e. ingredients, cooking methods and knowing allergens, working fast and under pressure, cleanliness, kitchen porter, bar work i.e. various beverages and learning the perfect serve on many drinks, stock, ordering.
- Reception: checking in and out of hotel guests, general administrative duties, guest database, learning hotel software systems, taking reservations, guest services, communication with other departments.
- Housekeeping: basic daily duties of room cleaning, public areas, stock, laundry, admin, room checks, COSHH.
LIST OF REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting preferred but not essential
- Great communication skills
- Positive attitude and team spirit
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to complete tasks alone as well as within a team
- Good timekeeping
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
No specific qualifications are required however grades A* - C GCSE maths and English would be desirable.
TRAINING TO BE PROVIDED
Full day to day training will be provided by the employer.
