The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling surgical loupes and headlight systems with superior magnification and resolution to healthcare clinicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategically develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goal.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in assigned territory to become a trusted advisor and support company branding efforts.
- Utilize CRM to properly manage sales opportunities within the territory.
- Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare clinicians.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with various departments including Customer Care, Technical Support, and Manufacturing to ensure prompt and quality customer service is provided.
- Contribute to product innovation by obtaining insight from healthcare clinicians and working with others and contributing new ideas.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional material.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights to the management team.
- Attend industry conferences and events to expand our network and promote products.
- Travels domestically (ground/air) up to 50%
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required/ Business administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required. Preferably in the medical/dentistry industry.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to travel around 50% via ground or air required.
- Experience using CRM software and other sales tools required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
