Our Lutterworth site are now recruiting for a Operations Administrator
on a full time
basis.
Salary:
£24,803.00 Per annum
Working hours:
Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00
Job Description:
The purpose of an to Operations Administrator support the day to day site operation through general site, facilities and compliance activities.
- Checking driver paperwork before unloading starts to check details such as container number, seals, etc. match with details provided on HMRC paperwork
- Updating intake diary and customer tracker's with tipping status, arrival and departure times
- Requesting clearance on HMRC website for loads that are not on ARC when they arrive
- Downloading receipt summary reports for inbound orders that are force completed
- Checking tally sheets for inbound loads, checking if quantity we physically received matches with HMRC paperwork
- Updating board for inbound loads that are on fence and needs to be tipped
- Manually creating ARC's for export loads
- Preparing despatch paperwork and update load plan for outbound orders
- Despatching customer selfcollections and preparing driver's paperwork
Qualifications:
- Experience working with HMRC is advantageous
- Experience of working in an administrative team in a logistics / warehouse environment
- Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner both with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members
- Professional, approachable and helpful to ensure smooth running of the general operation
- Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Develops and drives best practice in all aspects of performance
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
