Job Title:
Part-Time Lunchtime Supervisor


Location:
South Liverpool Primary School


Role Overview:

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive behavior of our students during the lunchtime period.

You will work collaboratively with the school staff to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, fostering positive social interactions among students.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise students during lunch breaks, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Promote positive behavior and enforce school policies.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Support students with their lunch routines, encouraging healthy eating habits.
  • Foster positive social interactions and play among students.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding any concerns or incidents.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to engage with and relate to children effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
  • A commitment to promoting the wellbeing and positive behaviour of students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
