Description

This is a full-time consultant appointment within a very busy Oral Health department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital provides Orthodontic and Oral and Maxillofacial services across Norfolk through close links with adjacent trusts Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn and The James Paget hospital on the east coast.

The catchment area covers a population of 1.4 million people and also includes Ipswich Hospital who merged with Colchester hospital to form the East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT).

This post be based at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with general clinics being performed there.

At present the Orthodontic Service covers patients from the Norfolk and Norwich and James Paget Hospital and has the potential to expand its remit further.

There is full engagement from the wider consultant body, specifically the Head and Neck and Oral Health Consultant team.
