Rank Group is looking for a Threat and Vulnerability Manager who will be responsible for identifying, tracking, and communicating threats and vulnerabilities that may impact Rank Group, our customers, or our team members.


You will be based on solid research of the emerging threat & vulnerability landscape as it pertains to our technical footprint and then lead in taking measures to strengthen security within our estate.


This opportunity offers the chance to work flexibly, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Working with management to develop a longterm strategy, annual plan and tactical plan for the vulnerability assessment and threat intelligence program.
  • Owning and executing the roadmap for vulnerability management processes and technologies across Rank Group.
  • Owning and executing threat intelligence efforts collaborating across Security and other teams as necessary
  • Providing leadership and direction to the business on all aspects of vulnerability management.
  • Establish consistent industry standard processes, standards and guidelines for the vulnerability management, compliance, and penetration testing program.
  • Building sustainable relationships to champion the adoption of the vulnerability management, compliance, and penetration testing program across the Group.
  • Management of Rank Group's vulnerability posture, from issue identification through to remediation.
  • Producing monthly KRI metrics and KPI's evidencing analysing of vulnerability risk and remediation progress.

Qualifications

Qualifications:


  • A Degree or Masters in Cyber Security / Information Security/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Sec+, CEH are desirable.
  • What is more important than the above is a demonstratable ability to lead on the identification, management and closure of cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.

Essential Skills:


  • Management and configuration of vulnerability management tooling in a cloud environment.
  • Experience of managing the scoping, execution, and assessment of outcomes from supplier led penetration testing.
  • Good understanding of the cyber threat landscape and understanding of threat hunting in a cloudbased environment.
  • Ability to articulate the risk presented to services from existing or emerging vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Ability to lead and manage technical teams and resources in the delivery of an agreed & defined set of outcomes.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to relate technical information to a nontechnical audience.
  • Ability to demonstrate an exceptional analytical skill set and knowledge of current and evolving Cyber threats.
  • Working with a larger team to deliver a riskbased response with a forwardthinking approach.
