**Team Leader - Mulgrew's Food Hall (EUROSPAR)

696 Saintfield Road, Carryduff, Co Down, BT8 8BU.**
Rate of Pay:£12.20 per hour

Hours:
Approximately 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

In your role as Team Leader you will be reporting to the Store Manager and will be responsible for supervising the team to ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.

This position provides an opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable supervisory experience in a large convenience store thereby assisting with future career progression within the retail sector.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Minimum of 12 months recent previous experience at supervisory level in a retail environment;
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to lead a team effectively;
Good time management skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.

Key Tasks:

Assume overall responsibility for the effective running of the store in the absence of the Store Manager;
Lead by example and supervise the team to ensure store standards are maintained and exceptional customer service is consistently delivered;
Assisting with implementation of training and development programme in relation to all staff;
Supervise stock replenishment, including gap management;
Support the store team to achieve key performance indicators;
Promote and support initiatives which will benefit the local community.

Hours of Work:

The store opening times will be 6.30am to 10.30pm Monday to Saturday and 7.00am to 10.30pm on Sunday.

The successful applicant therefore must be flexible in relation to shift working times throughout the week.

Mulgrew's Food Hall is a family owned convenience store (approximately 6,000 sq. ft) which is located in Carryduff and operates in partnership with the Henderson Group. The store carries EUROSPAR brand and includes a deli and butchery.
