This mainstream Primary School located in the Borough of Wandsworth is looking for the perfect hard-working, resilient graduate to join their exceptional team As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs whorequire some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom.

This is a
full time, long-term post, commencing January 2023 for the entire academic year.

This is an ideal position for a recent Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a _Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor_
amongst others.

Behaviour Mentor - Job role:


  • Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom
  • Encourage the development of the students' social skills
  • Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
  • Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures
  • Fulltime, long term position starting January 202
  • Located in the Borough of Wandsworth
  • A 2:1 or a Firstclass degree from a reputable University
  • Genuine interest working with SEN
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
  • Calm and compassionate nature
