Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 Diploma

Pathway - Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing

Pathway - Wall Tie Replacement

Pathway - Cavity Wall Insulation

Pathway - Solid Floor Insulation

Pathway - Under Floor Insulation

Pathway - Cold Roof Insulation _
(Covers Loft)_

or

NVQ Level 3 Diploma

Pathway - Room in Roof

Pathway - Park Homes

Pathway - Hybrid Wall

Pathway - Insulating Framed Sections of Buildings _
(Covers Flat Roof, Pitched Roof and Warm Roof)_

Pathway - Internal Insulation (Walls)


Responsibilities:


  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
  • Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or mineral wool
  • Secure insulation in place using staples, nails, or adhesives
  • Seal gaps and joints to prevent air leakage
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, or building plans to determine insulation layout
  • Work with other construction professionals to coordinate insulation installation
  • Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with safety standards
