A growing independent insurance broking Group, we are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to support the marketing activities of the business across its different brands.

This is a new opportunity which would suit a school/college leaver with at least 6 months' office experience or someone seeking a career change.

Job description for Marketing Assistant
Support the Marketing Team across a broad range of marketing initiatives involving both online and traditional forms of marketing.


Day to day responsibilities for Marketing Assistant

• Support the delivery of various marketing initiatives as directed in line with the agreed marketing objectives across both online and traditional marketing communications, including but not limited to projects involving: brand awareness, advertising, customer surveys, customer newsletters, marketing material, social media posts, blogs and vlogs, documentation, website changes, SEO support.
• Manage social media and digital marketing of the Group across multiple ecommerce platforms.
• Edit and upload content provided for specific areas of the internet.
• Work closely with the teams and individuals within the business, as well as build relationships with external suppliers and knowledge experts.

Person Specification for Marketing Assistant

• Knowledge and active user of all social media platforms, such as, Facebook, Twitter,
• Experienced IT user, with a working knowledge of MS365 (Outlook, Word etc.).
• IT and Creative experience or qualifications would be useful but not essential in this role.
• Excellent attention to detail, good organisation and administration skills.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Good standard of general education and literacy.
• Willingness to be flexible, learn and progress.
