About the role
We are recruiting for multiple full time Multi Trade Operatives to join our Trades team on a permanent basis.


You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard and will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.


By working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner you will deliver excellent customer service, objectives and achieve behaviour competences.


Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you


You must be to qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations or demonstrate equivalent trade experience.

Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.


You must have a Full UK Driver's License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly - you will be provided with transport.


You will be required to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.


It is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.


You must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices.
