We are looking for a Claims Handler to join a leading Pet Insurance company in Borehamwood. This is a varied and interesting role encompassing admin and customer service skills. You will be a vital part of the team, processing pet insurance claims primarilyfor customers veterinary treatment fees. The position is full time, Monday - Friday and is based out of the office in Borehamwood.

The role and responsibilities:

As a Claims Handler you will be a vital part of the customer's journey, ensuring that they have a smooth process when dealing with their pet's veterinary treatment fees.

Processing new and continuing claims and dealing with all correspondence (Inbound and outbound calls)
Answering all calls promptly in a polite manner
Helping customers and resolving queries where possible or escalating to a manager
Handling and resolving customer complaints
Data entry

What we are looking for:

You may currently work in a Claims Handler position or in a role that encompasses both phone customer service and admin skills.

Previous customer service experience and an excellent telephone manner
Experience of working towards targets and service standards
Proven letter writing skills
Excellent attention to detail
