Live Ops & Content Producer

Hunted Cow Studios Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic Live Ops & Content Producer to join it's growing studio in Scotland in a full-time position.

You will need to be a highly motivated individual with a passion for free-to-play mobile games.

The ideal individual will have experience making video content for Youtube/Twitch, experience using Social Media to promote a business and knowledge of live operations inside 'always-online' video games.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for setting up Live Operations and Events within existing mobile games on a weekly basis.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the social strategy for multiple games, including, but not limited to: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and our own game websites.
Bring your ideas to the table with a digital/social first mindset, as well as collaboratively build on others' concepts to deliver game engagement and to build a passion for the games/franchise.
You will be required to film, produce and edit video content for both marketing and the company's YouTube channel, this will require you to be comfortable with handling any voiceover work.
Work with the team to ensure information is delivered consistently and clearly to our players.
Work within deadlines, use your initiative and manage your time effectively to match.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Video editing software. (Hitfilm Express / Final Cut Pro / or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft a narrative.
Passionate, selfmotivated, and driven.
Familiarity with Excel or similar spreadsheet software and ability to learn and understand internal game development tools.
Able to operate in a fastpaced environment and find creative ways to get things done.
Must be Eligible to work in the UK and willing to relocate to Elgin, Scotland, this is an inhouse position.
Ability to construct wellthoughtout and thoughtprovoking Social media posts and content.
Familiarity with Photoshop or other imageediting software and the confidence to create graphics for various Social Media platforms.

Working at Hunted Cow Studios
You'll be working in a relaxed, collaborative studio environment where everyone gets to contribute and learn from each other. Individuals are encouraged to learn new skills and get involved with all aspects of game development and community building.

The studio has two large kitchens, an American pool table and a private gym, and we're situated right in the city centre with access to numerous shops, supermarkets, and pubs.

Elgin is a small but lively city just a few miles from the beach and beautiful countryside walks (or climbs, for the adventurous) and has great public transport links to the bigger cities of Aberdeen and Inverness.
