Overview:

Quality / Inspector
Our Aerospace customer is looking for experienced Inspectors for a 6 month contract in Prestwick.

This role is outside IR35

Work Scope

Inspection of RTM Spoilers Pre and Post Paint to the customer specifications and known quality defects.
Record findings from inspection and report to Process Engineering Team.
Excel Competence required.
Smartsheet awareness (required but not essential) to enter data into shop floor tablet.
Working closely with operations team who will rework the identified defects and "buy back" the assemblies to drawing requirements.
Working with the Process Engineering Manager, ensure feedback of defects are communicated to the respective workstations. Review processes carried out within the workstations and highlight areas of noncompliance to process together with potential improvements.
Provide assistance to the Material Review Board process on the reported nonConforming assemblies and enter/update Q-Pulse for the disposition of the product.
Airbus SAP access and Structures 20 (Concession Originator) to raise and submit concessions, preferred but not essential for requested role as training will be provided as required.
