An opportunity has arisen to work at an established and well-respected accountancy firm based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

The firm has been operating from their offices in Swadlincote for over 60 years and have established a wide variety of clients ranging from sole traders/partnerships to multi-million pound audit clients covering a wide range of business sectors.

Job requirements:

Your Primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Expertly navigating Tax and VAT regulations and requirements.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns on behalf of our clients.
• Working closely with other team members in preparing the annual financial statements.

Qualification:

To excel in this role you should possess:

• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Desire to work within an office environment

Job Offer:

• Salary range £20 £22k depending on experience
• The flexibility to work from home for part of your work hours
• The option to have additional training in bookkeeping/accounts production
• The option to work toward professional qualifications (AAT, ACCA, ACA)
