    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your section.
    • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in developing new menu items and recipes.
    • Ensure all food is prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
    • Manage and train commis chefs or kitchen assistants working in your section.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section and work area.
    • Check freshness, quality, and proper storage of ingredients.
    • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
    • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain cost efficiency.
    • Communicate effectively with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
    • Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Culinary diploma or relevant qualification (preferred).
    • Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred).

    Personal Attributes:

    • Reliable, punctual, and organized.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
