- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your section.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in developing new menu items and recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Manage and train commis chefs or kitchen assistants working in your section.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section and work area.
- Check freshness, quality, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain cost efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Culinary diploma or relevant qualification (preferred).
- Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred).
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Passionate about food and cooking.
