Roofer / Renewable Energy Installer
We're looking for an experienced Roofer to assist our team with the installation of roof mounted solar equipment.

Experience of different roofing structures and repairing slate would be an advantage.

Role Overview

To be able to hit the ground running, we're looking for someone to be able to;

• Ensure the integrity and weatherproofing of the roof on completion of installation
• Plan and set out the mounting system to accommodate the solar panels
• Ensure Certification Codes and Building Standards are met during the Solar installation
• Lay and secure Solar PV panels to mounting systems
• Be responsible for setting up controlled working areas and ensuring site health and safety
• Provide excellent service to clients and maintain good customer relationships

Role Requirements

• Ideally a minimum of 2 years trade experience
• Experience in working with and repairing slate, concrete, composite and metal roofs
• Qualifications or training relevant to working at heights
• Experience would with Solar PV or a desire to learn about renewable energy systems
• Happy to work outside and at heights
• A full driving license with no more than 3 points

You'll be working alongside a team of skilled electricians as our expert roofing specialist.

We see this position growing to a supervisory role in the future, so it would suit someone looking to expanded their experience with responsibility for health and safety / quality management.

In return, we offer;

- £28,000 - £30,000 starting salary dependant on experience (with overtime available)

• Mon-Fri 8.00am 4:30pm with one day off per month as timeinlieu
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus Christmas break

£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
