    Principal Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer

    We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer to join our Structures Team based in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of our eVTOL aircraft.

    About the Role

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled engineer to lead technical projects, provide expert guidance, and mentor junior engineers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality fatigue and damage tolerance analysis, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead fatigue and damage tolerance analysis projects from concept to delivery
    • Develop and implement technical strategies to ensure structural integrity and longevity of eVTOL aircraft
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you will require:

    • Over 10 years of experience in aerospace fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
    • Deep knowledge of fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, and damage tolerance principles
    • Proficiency in NASGRO, AFGROW, and Abaqus software
    • Strong understanding of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes, including composites and metals
    • Certification processes and regulatory compliance expertise
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
    • Background in managing and mentoring technical teams
