Cleaner atWhitehall Park School

Permanent contract. 20 hours/week (evenings).

44 weeks/year (school term + 4 weeks deep cleaning during holidays)

Salary:
FTE £23,083 /annum, pro rata.

We require a self-managing, reliable individual to ensure our school environment is maintained to the highest of standards.

The expectation is that the site looks amazing and provides our children with a safe and healthy environment in which to learn.

We are looking for an individual who will effectively ensure the school environment is kept clean, hygienic and safe for our children.

Could you be the person we are looking for? We are looking to recruit a Cleaner who will carry out a range of duties including :

cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting of designated areas (including toilets) and fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate powered equipment, as well as reporting hazards, such as fire hazards, blockages, etc.

Our cleaner will be expected to work individually but also as part of a cleaning team. We require somebody who has initiative, is enthusiastic and reliable.
