An exciting Temporary(end date 27/03/2025)/Part Time opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Health Care Support Workers to join Fleming Ward at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Fleming Ward specialises in respiratory medicine.

Applicants must have an approachable manner necessary to deal with patients and their relatives and desirable experience of a hospital environment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.


Applicants will work as part of a team of nurses on the ward and undertake patient fundamentals of nursing care tasks under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered General Nurse responsible for the patient's management.

You will need to be flexible and dynamic in your approach in delivering care to patients. The post holder needs to have good communication skills and be an effective team player

This post is fixed term for 24 months to meet the needs of the service.
