Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting students with SEND? Perhaps you have a Health and Social Care qualification and have worked with young, vulerable people before.

AK Teaching are looking to recruit three Teaching Assistants for one of our partner schools in the Morpeth area of Northumberland.

The roles are full-time, commencing asap and primarily involves working with learners who have Social Emotional and Mental Health, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties or Austism.

The school, is easily accessible by public transport from earby Ashington and Bedlington and has a very friendly atmosphere. Working hours would be from 8.30am until approximately 3.45-4pm.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have previous professional experience working closely with individuals with SEND or additional needs. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Health and Social Care qualification would be desirable.

You should be outgoing, patient and confident with communication, with a caring outlook and a passion for giving the students the best chance of success.
