The Role


We are looking for a motivated Delivery Lead who is keen to make an impact at a Fortune 500 company.

This is an exciting role that will work within our Application Security Team to build and deliver a program of work to ensure that security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle.


This role will require someone who is comfortable communicating at both a technical and business level and can articulate the value of embedding security into the SDLC.

The Team


At Aflac Northern Ireland, we are building a diverse, multi-function Cyber Security Team to support our Global Security Program protecting our customers in the US & Japan.

The Aflac NI Security Team has taken ownership of key components of the security program and are integrating with the Global Security Team to strengthen existing functions and build new capabilities.


What you'll be doing

  • Developing and owning plans to communicate program status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively to stakeholders.
  • Coaching team members in the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques
  • Assisting in the implementation of a range of process improvements to bring maturity to work management practices across the global security organization

What you should have


You should have both the project management experience and the technical know-how needed to operate within the cyber security industry.


_Essential_

  • 2 + years experience in a Software Delivery / Program Manager role with a proven track record of delivering business value through technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships with technical, business, and senior management stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively making complex and technical information and language simple and accessible for nontechnical audiences.
  • Willingness to challenge and improve processes where it impacts the pace of the team.
  • Ability to design, plan and lead crossfunctional project workshops
  • An ability to work under pressure against short timescales
  • Strong influencing, conflict resolution, decision making and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Jira & Confluence tools

_Desirable_

  • Bachelor's degree in a computerrelated discipline
  • Project delivery using agile best practices
  • Experience establishing working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
  • Experience managing cyber security projects
