About the role


The team at The Camborne Service are looking for a dynamic, motivated support worker who will have the characteristics and skills to add to our creative and forward-thinking team.

As a support worker you will be directly responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities to meet their outcomes as well as supporting with their personal needs.


We are looking for someone who can help us develop new ways to deliver the service with a key focus on sensory stimulation, communication and community engagement.

We currently have 1 vacancy of 37 hrs per week.

The operational hours of the service are Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm, working patterns to be agreed upon appointment.

About you


We need you to be enthusiastic, positive and a good team player as well as being able to work independently.


It would be desirable to have a Level 2 Social Care qualification or equivalent; however, consideration will be given to people who can demonstrate experience or a passion to work with people with a learning disability.

An understanding of the Councils safeguarding processes is also required.
