Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the U.K.Sales and Marketing teams, as well as being an integral part of our global consultancy team, you will start your journey supporting clients with pre and post-sales Technical Support activities.
You:

Your Tasks:
Assisting COPA-DATA sales team with sales pursuits at client sites
Technical training of clients using COPA-DATA presentations
Delivery of technical workshops
Ad-hoc consultancy assignments
Technical appraisals and presentations
Initiate, manage and collaborate input from appropriate group departments. i.e., sales, consultancy, technical services, training
Technical lead for all solutions
Production of technical proposals
Input into RFIs, ITTs, RFPs, RFQs
Participation in marketing events where necessary to raise market awareness
Take a proactive part in our Global Service Alliance
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Characteristics:
Essential
Degree qualified:

Computer Science or Software Development
Dynamic go-getter, pro-active in approach to everything you do with a positive can-do attitude
Team Player with the ability to quickly build rapport
Keen interest in technology and problem solving
Practical communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships, lead client discussions and engage at a technical level
Excellent attention to detail, with a quality focus and completes tasks/ maintains records in a thorough manner
Must have driving Licence and ability to travel to trade shows and Head Office
This role requires a month induction at our offices in Salzburg, Austria and a secondment so a passport and ability to travel is necessary
Experience with Industrial Automation, PLCs, HMI, and SCADA or final year project based on software/control
Experience in providing excellent customer support
Technical skills or interest in HMI, SCADA, PLCs, networking and communications, Windows Operating Systems, Visual Basic, and SQL Server
Programming knowledge in C# and WPF, as well as integration of SQL databases and (this is essential if working in services delivery)

Role-based at COPA-DATA UK offices Cardiff, South Wales. This role requires travel to our Head Office, Austria. This organisation is moving the office to Pencoed in August.
Pay:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
