TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a Top 100 law firm who has an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join their Commercial team in Bath.

We are looking for someone to support the growth and development of the Commercial Team, and to work with the Team's leadership group to deliver the firm's strategic and divisional goals.

Duties will include:

Ensuring an effective and efficient delivery of work, ensuring matters are profitable and work is resourced appropriately
Building effective relationships with clients and referrers, delivering on client service expectations and contributing to the management and development of key clients
Demonstrating technical skills and knowledge to ensure solid legal advice is provided
Cementing and growing an external profile as an established expert for commercial work
Inputting and implementing ideas into the team's business plan in order to demonstrate new business success from BD activities
Expanding your network of clients and referrers and supporting the pursuit of target clients and referrers with a view to building a pipeline of new business
Leading on the generation of thought leadership content
Developing an internal network of contacts to develop cross-referral opportunities
Supporting pitch teams by attending pitches, writing materials and preparing documents
Supervising and supporting the development of others within the team, delegating work appropriately and ensuring quality output
Keeping abreast of legal and commercial changes and inputting ideas to the team strategy including service lines, whilst taking responsibility for driving parts of the strategy

Skills, Experience and Attributes

5+ years PQE working for a leading national or regional firm
Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including outsourcing, E-commerce and IT agreements
Existing Tech sector expertise preferred
Business development mindset
