Based close to Nottingham City Centre in West Bridgford, DB Charles Recruitment are working with a brilliant business seeking to hire a permanent Principal Ecologist to join the Design & Consultancy division.

The business have grown rapidly over the last decade, evident in the increase in staff numbers, turnover and reputation within Construction & Environmental Services.

Day to day duties for the role will include:

Team / people management
Providing support and expertise to internal / external parties
Seeking out development opportunities
Programme / project management
Mitigation schemes
Handling support queries
Reporting
Liaising with other teams
A previous background within Ecology / Environmental Consultancy
Preferably degree graduates / CIEEM Membership
Holds at least one protected species license
Excellent MS Office skills and an ability with packages such as GIS Software
Construction experience
Strong attention to detail
Team player
Happy to commit to a permanent role based at the offices in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire with hybrid working on offer

The role is a Monday to Friday position, 37 hours per week, offering a salary dependent on experience between £35,000 to £45,000 per annum with additional benefits on offer, such as:
