Description
NxGen Recruit are currently recruiting a Network Consultant for a Public Sector organisation on an initial 3 month contract.

  • Day Rate: In the region of £450£500 per day via umbrella company


  • Hybrid Working

  • Due to nature of role there will be onsite working in Northampton which could be up to 3 days per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
The main purpose of this role will be to:

  • Produce a written report that scopes the work including costs to deliver the Next Generation Network
  • Assess current network infrastructure state
  • Collect, collate and validate requirements for future network state
  • Produce network designs
  • Suggest improvements
  • In depth networking knowledge
  • Experience in WiFi, Core Network, Internet Proxy, Firewalls and Internet, LAN, WAN and VPN
  • Network design and architecture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a Network Consultant, Architect or Business Analyst based role
  • Ideally Cisco Certified to CCNP and above level
