PDQ Engineering Ltd has an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner to join our company based in Washington, Tyne and Wear

The Company:

PDQ Engineering is a leading UK precision engineering subcontractor founded in 1986.

We are a dynamic company that has built a solid reputation for quality, accuracy and the ability to manufacture complex components to a broad range of industries.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner.

The Role:

Being responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of multi-axis CNC Lathes including Y-axis and live tooling.

Good engineering knowledge and previous experience of CNC programming / operating is essential.

The ability to to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Experience of processing a variety of materials used on both simple and complex parts from small to medium batch quantities.

Experience of Fanuc (ISO) controls is essential.

The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

A good level of concentration is required, as well as being able to work unsupervised.

Working Hours:

Day Shift:
Monday - Thursday Friday

Night Shift - Monday - Thursday

Overtime is available.

This is a full time, permanent position and in return the company is offering a competitive salary and benefits, which are to be discussed at interview stage.
