Head of School


The Board of Trustees at GUST Independent School are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head of School, due to retirement.


We are a small independent special school (40 pupils), recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted, offering children and young people (6-17 years old) with a diverse range of additional needs, the opportunity to learn in a supportive, safe and caring environment, in a way that works for them, as individuals.


We are keen to appoint an inspirational Head of School and dynamic leader with a proven track record of school improvement and inspirational leadership to take the school to the next stage of its development and beyond.

It is desirable that you have experience of this role, however we are interested in speaking to anyone who believes they have sufficient transferable skills, experience and knowledge to fulfil the role as on-going training will be provided.

A competitive salary will be discussed depending on experience.

You will be familiar with the content of the most recent Keeping Children Safe in Education policy (KCSIE).

An enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this post prior to commencement.


Pay:
£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
