We currently have a rare opportunity for someone to join our supported learning department as a SEND Job Coach on a fixed term basis.

The role of the SEND Job Coach is to provide end to end support for students in the Supported Learning department to access meaningful experiences of work.

In line with the SEND Code of Practice and Preparation for Adulthood, students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities must have opportunities to achieve employment related outcomes.

As a SEND Job Coach you will work closely with the curriculum and support teams, students, their parents/carers and any other relevant professional agencies to develop accessible opportunities for work experience.

Supporting employers is an essential aspect of the role to ensure the workplace is ready and equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge to support students to be successful in their work placement.
