My retained client is an international design and manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation in a multitude of different industries.

They are well established, with an impressive history over the last 60 years.

Due to continued growth, and an increase in production on site, they are looking to add an experienced Electronics Engineer their site on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

You will be tasked of developing the team and supporting the design function in reaching ahigher level of standard.

Required Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an electronics engineering and design role
Electronics engineer with proven experience developing and maintaining embedded C firmware
Comfortable designing and maintaining digital and analogue circuitry
Ability to produce clear schematics resulting in PCB layouts which are easy to manufacture and test
Ability to use Windows development tools and environments, e.g. Delphi / C# as needed to support hardware test and debug
Ability to fault find and debug problems in a logical and thorough manner
Ability to assist with formal product compliance and acceptance testing
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time where deadlines and priorities are changeable
A handson engineer with good written and oral communication skills
Ability to create Technical Specification documents and drawings
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
