The Role
In this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting a range of children with Special Needs across EYFS and KS1.
There will be a focus on communication and interaction, regulation, sensory development as well as supporting the children to access whole class/school activities.
The school are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant with the following:- SEND experience
- working with children with SEMH/behavioural needs, Autism
- A Confident and calm approach who is able to remain regulated when a child is dysregulated
- The ability to support children to coregulate
- Positive/safe handling training e.g. Team Teach
- Flexible and able to work under pressure i.e. to adapt in the moment
- Experience of working with EYFS/KS1 age children (47)
- Clear communicator
