A global law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Contracts Manager to join their thieving London based office to work under the general direction of the General Counsel's office, to efficiently manage and deliver the contractual aspectsof the Firm's procurement of third-party suppliers to the Firm in the UK.

This role would suit an enthusiastic individual who can focus on managing the lifecycle of the Firm's UK supplier contracts.

You will report to Legal Counsel team and will have significant interaction with various Business Service heads and functions.

The roleis also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Firm's bespoke contract management system and managing the various deadlines relevant to the supply chain contracts.


Duties include:


  • Primary responsibly for the reviewing and negotiation of supplier agreements to be entered into by the UK, identifying key risks and explaining those to the relevant Business Services function
  • Liaising with the legal and Business Services teams and any other relevant "in house" stakeholders to understand the key requirements and associated timelines for implementing, renewing and terminating supplier agreements
  • Liaising with the relevant internal teams to regularly promote the use of the new contract management system (High Q)
  • Assisting with updating template(s) and supplier questionnaires in order to capture the relevant information for managing the supply chain contracts and basic details of the same
  • Work with various Business Service teams across the Firm to ensure that all current contracts are identified and captured within the system
  • Managing the uploading of existing contracts to the system and proactively using the system to monitor imminent deadlines in time for preemptive action to be taken by the internal contract owner
