RTC Resources have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN tutors to work within the community to teach PSHE.

We have work available Monday-Friday 12-2PM. You can also pick up extra hours with other education packages or support work packages.

We are looking for tutor for one specific client to work within the community to work to teach PSHE.

We can offer you a competitive rate. starting from £ £25.00 per hour

Job Description:

Updating patients' charts and daily notes to keep track of their progress
Listening to patients and providing them with relevant feedback and support
Supporting individuals to meet targets.
Using different communication methods.
Organising lessons and weekly timetables.
Being responsible for the wellbeing and safety of patients under care
Interacting respectfully with patients and their relatives, building a strong relationship.
Keep all matters related to patients or their families confidential at all times
In the case of serious side effects or healthrelated issues, notify the patient's family/guardian and the management team.
Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional wellbeing, and promptly report any changes.
Encourage clients to participate in social, learning and recreational activities.
Liaising with management as necessary
Working towards specific outcomes for each individual
Providing personcentred care
Providing respite care for families

As a Tutor you will need to hold the following requirements:

At least 6 months experience within UK as an SEN Tutor or Teacher within a Special needs school.
Autism Training
PMVA Training

- if possible

Teaching Qualification
Right to work in the UK
Be able to provide x2 references covering the last 1 year's employment.
DBS In date preferably on the update service.
Mandatory training

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 weeks

Salary:
£20.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
