Overview:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager and working within our Aerospace division you will join a highly qualified and accomplished team to deliver an excellent level of testing while maintaining safety and quality standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Book in all customer orders
- Checking orders for discrepancies/errors
- Recording on job book
- Populating work instruction cards
- CTSs
- Closing orders on job book from del notes
- Communicating numbering etc errors to customers and resolving (to completion, ie. The job is able to progress, not 'on hold')
- Communicating technical issues to technical support staff/management (to completion, ie. The job is able to progress, not 'on hold')
- Give finalised orders to accounts team to produce WIP information
- Primary FLT driver including FLT check
- Logging specific customer requirements e.g. use of couriers
- Maintain Goods in/out area
- Preparation of outgoing documentation
Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience working within an engineering or Laboratory environment would be advantageous
- Educated to good standard in Maths and English
- Excellent attention to detail, and able to follow instruction
- IT literate, including Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excels in teamwork, and able to work confidently as an individual
- Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills, methodical approach, able to manage deadlines
- Ability to work consistently during high pressure periods
- Participate in SQDC meetings, gemba walks, and other safety/quality initiatives
